OVERVIEW

Our mission is to utilize performing arts programs as a means of enhancing self-esteem, academic achievement, self-discipline and social responsibility for K-12 students in South Los Angeles.

Through our After-School, Saturday and Summer programs, we provide the youth of South Los Angeles an alternative to gangs, drugs and violence endemic to the area by providing high quality instruction in dance, drama and music and all of our programs are offered completely free of charge. Using performing arts as a catalyst, Success Through The Arts Foundation has inspired and transformed the lives of thousands of students living in one of the most economically depressed communities in the country.  In an area where the graduation rate is approximately 30%, 100% of our seniors graduated in 2011 with GPAs of 3.0 or better.  Our students go on to attend colleges such as Dartmouth, Stanford, Berklee College of Music, and a host of others.  Success Through The Arts Foundation is making a true difference and changing the lives of the South LA youth daily.
